Cosmetic Procedures

Eyelid Lift / Blepharoplasty

Blepharoplasty is plastic eyelid surgery that removes excess upper and/or lower eyelid tissue giving you a refreshed and revitalized look. It is performed to improve the appearance of baggy eyes, dark under eye circles, wrinkles, and simply the signs of aging around the eye area. Blepharoplaslty is performed making small incisions along the natural skin lines of the upper or lower eyelids, allowing the removal of tissue. Incisions from inside the lower eyelid allow the removal of fat without leaving any externally visible scars. The surgery typically takes 30 minutes to one hour under local anesthesia with intravenous sedation. Intitial swelling after surgery usually resolves within one to two weeks. Our detailed after-surgery recovery procedures and tips will help you minimize discomfort, swelling, bruising, and ensure a speedy recovery. Consult Dr. Brannan and find out how Blepharoplasty can give you a rejuvenated and youthful appearance.

Brow Lifts

Brow lifts or forehead lifts are often considered when eye brows deviate significantly from an ideal eye brow line, to correct premature signs of aging causing drooping eyebrows, or as a solution to unwanted furrows or deep forehead lines. Brow lifts and forehead lifts are performed in an outpatient setting. These type of lifts often only require local anesthesia. Dr. Brannan will evaluate your condition and explain which type of incision method (conventional or endoscopic) will be best suited in your particular case. The advantage of the endoscopic method includes smaller incisions, no general anesthesia, reduced bruising, less scarring, and faster recovery. Consult Dr. Brannan and find out how an eye brow or forehead lift could improve your appearance.

Lattisse®

Lattisse® is a prescription treatment approved by the FDA for inadequate or not enough eyelashes. Lattisse helps your eyelashes grow longer, stronger, fuller, and darker. Results start to show in as little as 8 weeks, with full results in 16 weeks. Latisse® should only be used under close doctor care to monitor correct application and possible side effects. Please consult Dr. Brannan if you are interested in using Latisse® to grow beautiful eyelashes.

Liquid Facelifts: Botox® & Dermal Fillers

Non-invasive, very satisfying technique to fill facial folds and soften wrinkles.

Botox®

BOTOX® is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used to improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines and wrinkles. Frown lines give the impression that we're fatigued or angry and simply make us look older. BOTOX® injections are much less intrusive than other types of plastic surgery. When suffering from severe frown lines and wrinkles you may want to consider a regular treatment plan to help maintain your rejuvenated look. You can receive injections every 3 to 4 months. Consult Dr. Brannan and find out whether BOTOX® injections are the best option for you to regain a refreshed and youthful look.

Dermal Fillers: Juvéderm® and Radiesse®

Juvederm® is used for correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and noslabial folds (the facial lines that extend from your nose to the corners of your mouth). Juvederm® is injected into the subsurface skin layer and improves your skin's appearance by smoothing out and lifting it, adding volume and elasticity. Juvederm® is a gel implant that contains hyaluronic acid that will be naturally absorb by your body within a year.

Radiesse® is a dermal filler giving your skin volume, flexibility and strength. Radiesse® wrinkle filler's unique formulation stimulates the production of new collagen which results in increased volume for natural looking wrinkle correction that may last a year or more in many patients.

Dermal fillers are a quick, comfortable, and easy way to achieve immediate results when desiring a more youthful appearance. Consult Dr. Brannan and find out which dermal filler is best suited for you.

Microdermabrasion

Desiring Healthy, refreshed skin?

Microdermabrasion is a non- invasive procedure that is used to gently yet effectively exfoliate and renew your skin. Microdermabrasion works by utilizing a precise stream of fine crystals that are directed at the skin to loosen a layer of dead skin cells known as the stratum corneum. At the same time, suction gently removes both the dead skin cells and crystals to invigorate the skin and leave it feeling soft, smooth and glowing.

Microdermabrasion has been shown to improve dull or uneven skin tone, refine the appearance of fine lines, reduce the size of large pores, and soften rough or thickened skin. The best results are seen when this procedure is done in a series of 6 treatments every 2-3 weeks.

Chemical Peels

Get the youthful GLOW back to your skin!

Chemical peels can be used to improve skin tone, texture and clarity and to treat conditions such as acne, hyperpigmentation and fine lines and wrinkles. Here at DOCs we offer a variety of chemical peels with different acid strengths, designed to produce various degrees of exfoliation based on a patient's individual needs.

Salicylic acid 20% peel:
This Beta Hydroxy acid has the capability to penetrate the skin and remove impurities at the sebaceous follicle where most breakouts begin. It also gently removes dead skin cells to improve the overall look and feel of the skin. This peel offers great and expedient results to patients suffering from mild to moderate acne and can be preformed every 1-2 weeks.

Vitalize peel:
The Vitalize peel is our most popular skin peel due to its safe, predictable results and minimal downtime. The key to the vitalize peel is its unique formulation 3 key ingredients including: lactic acid, resorcinol, and salicylic acid. These mild acids produce a consistent and well tolerated peel that can be used for ALL skin types. This peel can be customized and enhanced with a a leave on retinol that is powerful yet tolerable and can boost results. The Vitalize peel is used to treat sun damaged skin, pigmentary abnormalities, superficial acne scarring and fine lines and wrinkles. The best results are seen within 3 treatments done at intervals of 3-4 weeks.

What to expect:
A rosy glow will be present for 1-3days after your treatment.
After the first 48-60 hours after peel your skin may begin to flake or peel.
This typically lasts for 1-3 days. During this time we encourage our patients to avoid picking or peeling skin and instead moisturize the skin consistently.

Rejuvinize peel:
The Rejuvinize peel is the deepest peel we offer at our practice. It can be used for moderate to severe conditions of the skin including sun damage, lines and wrinkles, acne, acne scarring and melasma. The key ingredient to this peel is an acid known as Isoceteth which can penetrate deeply within the skin and target pigmentation. This peel can also be customized to accommodate a patients particular needs by doing 2-3 passes and adding a leave on retinol at the end of the treatment to enhance results. To achieve the best results possible, this peel should be done in a series of 3 treatments at intervals of 4-6 weeks.
