Monika Wrobel, PA-C is a native of Sarasota and proud to return home to educate her patients and assist them with their Dermatological needs. She graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Arts and Science majoring in exercise physiology. Monika was inspired by her undergraduate exposure to medicine and narrowed her focus to Dermatology. She was selected for a post graduate internship at Dermatology Associates of Tallahassee. She then attended a competitive 2 year physician assistant program at South College in Knoxville, TN. Her training allowed her to hone her surgical skills and strengthen her medical foundation. Desiring to focus her interest in dermatology and to foster preventative medicine in her peers, she conducted her thesis on the sun protective behaviors and knowledge of skin cancer in the young adult population. She continues this pursuit of high academic achievement and quality care while maintaining an educational focus at DOCs.

Monika is a board certified physician assistant, and is an active member of Florida Academy of Physician Assistants and Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
